Packaging
I remember the old packaging of all of the wet n wild mascaras, and this one
was my least favorite, it was very weird to hold. Within recent years they

have changed the look of a lot of their makeup, and not only that but they
stepped up as far as the quality of the products.
I love this new packaging, it's much more sleek and easy to handle.

Product

 I'm going to start off with the wand, its a plastic wand,
I have no preference when it comes to wands, this one is a larger,
perfect for creating more voluminous lashes.
The formula of this mascara is a little bit dry.
There is a little bit of clumping but it's not a lot.
Does it give me 5x the volume ? No
It does give me noticeably more voluminous lashes
but I do not agree with the claim of 5x the volume.
The packaging claims 5x the volume, and the website claims 3x
the volume, which I completely agree with.

Quality control issue
I have purchased this mascara numerous times, on one occasion I bought
it and there wasn't enough product in the tube. I have only
experienced this once since I've started buying this mascara,
and it hasn't happened since.


Waterproof
As far as it's waterproof qualities, it gets the job done,
I like to layer my mascara and I always end with this one.
It's safe to say that there is a good chance that I'll cry whenever
we go to Disneyland, and every time I have my lashes still look good.

Would I recommend this product ?
Yes. It's a great waterproof mascara that gives
you noticeably fuller lashes.

The Mega Impact Mascara and
The Mega Length Mascara soley
because of the Color of the packaging,
yeah I'm a sucker for color packaging
and especially packaging that just says 80s colors.
 

Product:

*The Formula is a bit wet, but it doesn't

take forever to dry, if the formula is still to wet

you can let it dry out a bit, and it will be easier to work with.

*So if you want to buy this mascara thinking that it will instantly

give you longer, fuller looking lashes this isn't the mascara for you.

*it will give you fuller longer looking lashes overtime.

*So if you have naturally long lashes this will coat your lashes.

*If you have short lashes and still want to use this product try layering

this mascara with others, I have been doing this since I've purchased

this and it works amazingly well.

before using this mascara, I used Wet N Wild's
Clinical Mascara and that definitely helped my lashes grow
and the mega protein mascara has helped my lashes grow even more..
I don't have a before picture of my lashes but I do have a picture of
a couple of months ago..
 

 

 

I like to layer my mascara
I put on the mega protein first,
followed by the Mega Impact mascara,
followed by the Mega Length mascara
and ending with the Mega Plump mascara.

So since I decided to go cruelty free I started looking for substitutes for the products
I used on a daily basis, and I started with my moisturizer. Now I previously used
St. Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Moisturizer, and although it is a good product,
I don't like that it is not cruelty free. So after I bought my moisturizer at
The Vitamin Shoppe (wooot wooot to the vitamin shoppe carrying cruelty free products)
we stopped at Target and as I was checking out the Clearance end caps(I love me some target clearance) I saw this product and honestly I only saw that it was a moisturizer w/ spf 15,
leaping bunny certified and was on clearance for 5.98, and I was sold.....And I am so glad
I bought this, sorry for this little mini-story lol...

Packaging:
* So I love that Alba Botanica's line of products have different color packaging for different skin
   types/collections, and since this has sea moss and the packaging is light green, I see what you
   did there Alba Botanica and I like it..
* Tube with a twist off cap, and it's a good size to travel with..
Product:
*As a moisturizer it works amazeeng, sets into my skin very nicely
*I touch my face and it feels and looks moisturized, doesn't feel greasy after using it.
*It's not a harsh sunscreen, it's natural.
*It evened up my skin tones, one of my co-workers was the first to notice the even skin tone.
*I love the  sunscreen helps prevent uneven skin tone.
*My only Con to this product is it does leave a little bit of shine.
* Makeup doesn't look weird when applied on top of this, and doesn't sit heavy like regular sunscreen.
*A little bit of this goes a long way.
*Miss moisturizer and Mister Sunscreen had a baby, It's not a heavy cream and it's not a runny sunscreen it's a good balance of the two...lol
Scent:
*For many the scent of the product is determines if they will buy any product, for me it's a pleasant
  scent, it's not too overpowering and it does fade away after application.
*Doesn't have a heavy sunscreen smell..
*If you are sensitive to smells I would say smell this in store before buying.

 

I would recommend this for everyone, I absolutely love this product, and I know I will be stocking up on this for the summer....

Scent:

*Pleasant smell, I personally love the smell of this.

*It does linger for a bit and fades after a bit.

 

Product:

*Has a liquid consistency

*small white beads (color beads)

*Works best when fingers used to apply it to the face.
   I have tried it with a beauty sponge, but I feel I can break down the color beads
   better with my hands then with the beauty sponge or a stippling brush..

*Light coverage

*Can also be used just as a primer.

*I apply it in sections, I start with my neck and work my way up.

                                     (I'll explain in the cons why)

 

Cons:

*Product dries, I don't want to say it dries to fast, but between this and
  New York Color's Skin Matching Foundation, New York Colors foundation
  dries faster than this.

*If you have some on your hands that has dried and you apply it to your face

  it will clump up.

 

Would I recommend this:

* yes I would recommend this, if you have a sensitive face

   (Before I bought this I researched it and some had a burning sensation,

    so air on the side of caution)

*For some the light coverage is a con.

  (I have some acne scarring and I use a concealer before hand)

My Skin
My skin had always been dry,using a moisturizer has helped tremendously,it makes my make up look even better,I do get pimples once in a while,but nothing major.

Coverage
It is true to the statement sheer to medium coverage, and I have to disagree that it evens out flaws,whenever I get a headache my forehead turns red not to red but its still noticeable without foundation.When I use this I have to use a small amount of concealer to reduce the appearance of redness.
That is the only problem I have found with this liquid foundation,as far as the actual product not packaging or anything( I will get to packaging later ..)
I don't mind using a bit of concealer on problem areas,but if your looking for a full coverage this liquid foundation is not for you.

How It Works For Me
Aside from the coverage it works really well.Its lightweight and perfect for the summer,there's nothing more that I hate than wearing liquid foundation during the summer and having it feel heavy and thick.
It has the consistency of lotion and a little bit goes along way,one bottle will last me about a good month and a half..during the summer not so much because I use it everyday.
To me it has a light scent of the sun block..but its not overpowering.
It blends really well doesn't cake or settle,docent leave my face too matted, it gives me a nice flawless look without having to wear so much liquid foundation.
Staying power..it lasts me about a good 8 hours..after 8 I have to reapply my shine free loose powder because my face gets shiny from walking around so much during the day. 

Reviews
It has gotten bad reviews for Coverage..some find that its not enough coverage and for others its just right..
Packaging is another main reason for the bad reviews..I will agree on that,it is a little bit heavy but not enough for me not to carry this with me..but it depends on your preference.
The same goes for whether or not it has a pump,me I don't mind not having a pump.I have a rimmel London liquid foundation with a pump and I tried using it for my wet n wild but alas it doesn't fit.
Something that no one has mentioned on all of the reviews I have read is that the lettering peels off,

This foundation works differently on everybody, you can read all the good and bad reviews but ultimately its a liquid foundation that you would have to buy to see if it works for you..I bought it for either 3.99 or 4.99 don't really remember how much it was..I would rather be out 4 or 5 bucks vs more..
